A community benefit, not a marketplace
The Community Involvement Discount Card connects community members with participating businesses in a way that helps residents save money and helps local businesses gain customers and visibility.
Our role
The card does one thing extremely well: it links residents to nearby businesses that have agreed to offer a community discount. Businesses receive directory exposure and community visibility; cardholders receive savings at the register.
Community partners
Community Involvement is an independent community and business platform. We work with organizations, schools, community groups, businesses and local programs — including University of Oakland — who help introduce the program to the people and businesses they serve. Partners support the program; they do not own or operate it.
